Cogs

Web Design, Logo Design, Icon Design,

In collaboration with Flying Saucer Studio, I created the Interface of Cogs, an Email finder Plugin for Google Chrome.

I enjoy a lot working on that fun project. As I said before Cogs serve as a tool to find Emails on the internet; LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter etc, so you make an easy extract. They wanted a Web Design and an option of their Logo. The main goal here was to create something really simple, clean but fun for users, based on those concepts I started working, Moodboard ready with a marked direction that was approved instantly.

After creating my style guide I was ready to start my design process and creating the logo was on the top of the list. After checking ideas and concepts I realize Cogs was like Bot, it finds something for you right when you call the Plugin without doing nothing, so I decided to create a Robot Character for the Logo. I then created a short and small user story document to identify the stages and feature the plugin was going to have and then created my User flows and my Wireframes with a 12 Column grid.

I then started creating the final design, Colors, illustration creation, patterns, icon Design etc… until having something unique, simple but fun. The client was happy with the final design and that automatically made happy too.
